I have always felt deeply saddened by the idea that there are children in the world
starving, and without shelter and education. Having children of my own has
reminded me of how fragile these children are. When I think about these children
and their lack of control over their own situation it makes me want to embrace each
one of them and make it better.
No child should go to sleep at night with out a bed or shelter. Safety and education
should be a right of a child, not a privilege. In our nation alone, there are hundreds
of thousands of children going to sleep without a bed at night. . We at Sweet
Shoes, believe in giving back to the world, especially to the children who are not
yet in control of their own destinies.
When I started this company, I knew I wanted to use it to give back.
